The Voices for Change<\/em> project by the Every Voice Counts Initiative (EVCI)<\/strong> aims to uplift the standard of living and quality of life of marginalized and vulnerable populations through a three-pronged approach: Capacity Building, Advocacy, and Mentorship<\/strong>. The project will be implemented across selected communities and will target women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other underserved groups.<\/p>

EVCI Goals:<\/strong><\/h3>
  1. Empower vulnerable individuals<\/strong> with skills and knowledge for personal and economic growth.<\/li>\n\n
  2. Advocate<\/strong> for inclusive policies and social justice at community and governmental levels.<\/li>\n\n
  3. Mentor and guide<\/strong> emerging leaders and individuals to become agents of change in their communities.<\/li><\/ol>

    EVCI Objectives:<\/strong><\/h3>
    • Train at least 500 individuals<\/strong> (especially youth and women) in vocational, digital, and entrepreneurial skills within 12 months.<\/li>\n\n
    • Establish advocacy coalitions<\/strong> in 5 regions to address key issues affecting vulnerable populations.<\/li>\n\n
    • Launch a mentorship network<\/strong> connecting 100 professionals with mentees for life skills, career guidance, and leadership development.<\/li>\n\n
    • Facilitate community forums<\/strong> and town hall meetings to amplify the voices of underrepresented groups.<\/li><\/ul>

      Key Components:<\/strong><\/h3>

      1. Capacity Building<\/strong><\/h4>
      • Skill acquisition workshops<\/strong> (e.g., ICT, tailoring, agribusiness, etc.)<\/li>\n\n
      • Entrepreneurship training & financial literacy<\/strong><\/li>\n\n
      • Life skills and civic education<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>

        2. Advocacy<\/strong><\/h4>
        • Policy dialogue sessions with local leaders and stakeholders<\/li>\n\n
        • Grassroots campaigns promoting gender equality, disability rights, and youth empowerment<\/li>\n\n
        • Development and dissemination of advocacy materials (radio talks, social media, flyers)<\/li><\/ul>

          3. Mentorship<\/strong><\/h4>
          • One-on-one and group mentoring sessions<\/li>\n\n
          • Annual \u201cVoices of Change\u201d summit<\/strong> featuring motivational talks, panel discussions, and networking<\/li>\n\n
          • Continuous support through digital platforms and community centers<\/li><\/ul>

            Target Beneficiaries:<\/strong><\/h3>
            • Women and girls from low-income backgrounds<\/li>\n\n
            • Youth (ages 15\u201335)<\/li>\n\n
            • Persons with disabilities (PWDs)<\/li>\n\n
            • Minority and displaced communities<\/li><\/ul>

              • Improved income-generating capacities of participants<\/li>\n\n
              • Increased participation of vulnerable groups in decision-making and community leadership<\/li>\n\n
